1984
After
nine years in the collections industry, Tim Ford founded
Commercial Recovery Systems in Dallas, Texas in 1984.
The company began with one telecom Client and grew
to handle over $700 million in receivables last year.
Increasing from 35 to almost 200 employees, CRS is
currently the 2nd largest independently owned debt
management company in the country. Through
the years, the company’s management has consistently
focused on the Client while staying lean. In
fact, CRS has reached its goals virtually debt free
while receiving some of the top Client awards in the
industry for production and service. CRS is
a member of the American Collectors Association and
the Better Business Bureau.
